Nasya is an Ayurvedic treatment involving administration of medicated oils, ghee, or herbal juices through the nasal passages. The nose is considered the gateway to the head (Shirasah Dwaram), and Nasya directly delivers medicines to the brain, sinuses, and upper respiratory tract. The therapy includes preparatory facial massage and steam, followed by nasal oil instillation.
