Kati Bath (Sitz Bath / Hip Bath) involves immersing the hip and pelvic region in a specially designed tub or basin containing warm, cool, or medicated water. The therapy stimulates blood circulation to the pelvic organs, relieves constipation, haemorrhoids, urinary disorders, uterine conditions, lower back pain, and post-delivery recovery. Different water temperatures are used for different therapeutic purposes — cold for inflammation, warm for congestion and pain.
